In order for us to dispense your medicines you will need to send us your Private Prescription by post (signed by a UK doctor) after completing the payment process.
On completion of payment you will need to send your signed prescription to Brennans Pharmacy, 31-33 High Street, Ibstock, Leicestershire LE67 6LG. Please allow 3-5 working days from the date you post your prescription for your medicine to be delivered. Once we have received your prescription in the post and it is validated by our pharmacist, we aim to dispatch your medicines the next working day.
Each tablet contains Atovaquone 250mg and Proguanil Hydrochloride 100mg
To prevent malaria the usual dose for adults is 1 tablet once a day, starting 1 to 2 days before travelling to an area which has malaria, throughout stay and continue taking for another 7 days after returning to a malaria-free area.
Not recommended for preventing malaria in children, or in adults who weigh less than 40 kgs.
Do not take Malarone for longer than 28 days.
Avoid use in pregnancy or if breast feeding- seek medical advice from your doctor
